The campaign runs across three periods, for 40 SafePal X1 wallets total:
Note that Round 3 has no referrer category — December’s 10 wallets split across top spenders and the raffle only.

In Rounds 1 and 2, each period’s wallets are split across three ways to win. Round 3 uses the first and third:

• 💰 5 winners: Top spenders. The five Laguna users with the highest total spend through Laguna’s partner stores during that period each win a wallet.

• 🏆 5 winners: Top referrers (Rounds 1 and 2 only). Every person you refer counts once toward your total, and every order they place during the period adds one more.

  • So if you refer someone and they place 2 orders that period, that’s 3 points on your referral total.

  • The five Laguna users with the highest referral total each win a wallet.

  • Laguna will disqualify any account found gaming this: fake referrals, self-referrals, or artificially inflated orders.

• 🎟️ 5 winners: Raffle. Anyone who’s placed at least one order through Laguna during that period is automatically entered into a random draw for 5 wallets. No ranking, no leaderboard, just participate.

There’s no minimum spend or minimum order count to qualify for the spender or referrer categories, and no minimum beyond one order to qualify for the raffle. Each period is scored independently, but each Laguna user can only win once across the entire campaign.

Orders only count within the campaign period they’re placed in. If someone you referred orders in July, that order doesn’t count toward the August–September round. Only orders placed inside a given round’s dates count for that round.

How to enter

1. Shop through Laguna: every purchase through a Laguna partner store (Shopee, Agoda, Trip.com, and more) counts toward your spend total and enters you into that period’s raffle.

2. Share your Laguna referral link: each person who signs up through it adds 1 point, and every order they place that period adds another, toward your referral total (Rounds 1 and 2 only).

3. Do any of the above: you’re automatically entered into the current round just by using Laguna normally. No separate sign-up form.

At the end of each round, Laguna tallies the totals, confirms the 15 (or 10, in December) winners, and starts the claim process below.

How and When You’ll Get Your Wallet

Once a round closes, here’s what happens, step by step:

1. Within 1 week of the round ending: Laguna finalizes the winners list and screens out any accounts flagged for gaming the system.

2. Winner notification: Confirmed winners get an email asking for a wallet address. Laguna passes this address to SafePal to be whitelisted.

3. Claim page opens: Once your address is whitelisted, a second email follows with a link to SafePal’s claim page and the redemption terms. Use the same wallet address you submitted to access the page.

4. Redeem: The claim page carries your promo code, which redeems the X1 at no cost. Shipping is the one cost not covered; see the shipping terms in the FAQ below before you claim.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I claim my SafePal wallet? About a week after your round closes, you’ll get an email asking for a wallet address, which Laguna sends to SafePal for whitelisting. Once whitelisted, a follow-up email gives you the claim page and terms. Access it with the same wallet address you submitted. The claim page carries a promo code that redeems the X1 at no cost; shipping is the only cost not covered. See the full timeline above and the shipping terms below.

2. Do I need to buy anything extra to enter? No. Entry is automatic through normal Laguna activity: shopping through partner stores and sharing your referral link. The raffle needs just one order.

3. How does the raffle work? Anyone with at least one qualifying order that period is entered once into a random draw for 5 wallets. It’s separate from the spender and referrer leaderboards, so it doesn’t hurt or help your standing there.

4. How exactly are referral points calculated? Say you refer 3 friends during a round: Friend A places 2 orders, Friend B places 1 order, and Friend C signs up but doesn’t order. Your referral total would be:

• Friend A: 1 (for the referral) + 2 (for their orders) = 3

• Friend B: 1 (for the referral) + 1 (for their order) = 2

• Friend C: 1 (for the referral) + 0 (no orders yet) = 1

Your combined referral total for the round: 3 + 2 + 1 = 6 points. The five Laguna users with the highest total across all their referrals win a wallet.

5. Can I win more than once? No. Each Laguna user can win once across the entire campaign, even if you’d qualify in more than one category or round.

6. What happens if I’m tied with another user? Ties among top referrers are broken by total amount spent by the group: your own spend plus the spend of everyone you referred, during that period. Ties among top spenders are broken by whichever qualifying order was placed first.

7. What counts as “gaming the system,” and what happens if I do it? Fake accounts, self-referrals, and artificially inflated orders (e.g. placing and cancelling orders to pad your count) are not allowed. Laguna reserves the right to disqualify any account showing this behavior from the round and the campaign.

8. Do orders from outside the campaign period count? No. Orders only count toward the round they’re placed in. For example, if someone you referred orders in July, that order doesn’t count toward the August–September round. Only orders placed within a round’s exact dates count for that round.

9. Why doesn’t December have a top referrers category? December’s round is shorter (one month vs. two) and runs 10 wallets instead of 15, split between top spenders and the raffle only.a

10. Is the SafePal X1 the same wallet SafePal sells at retail? Yes, it’s the standard retail SafePal X1, currently listed at $69.99 on SafePal’s store.

11. Is my country eligible to receive the wallet? Only if it’s on SafePal’s shipping list. Check your country against the full list of shipping-eligible countries and regions before entering. Winners with a shipping address outside this list won’t be able to receive the reward.

12. Who pays for shipping and customs? You do. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout on SafePal’s claim page, and any customs duties or import taxes on the device are also the winner’s responsibility.
