Scroll our homepage and you’ll find people explaining Laguna better than we ever have. Someone in Malaysia working out they’d earned over a hundred dollars of cashback in a month. Someone in Japan pointing out you don’t need a wallet to start. Someone booking a flight and realising it had cost them almost nothing.
We didn’t write any of that.
Which is sort of the point, although the more useful observation is what those posts have in common. They’re all specific. A number, a trip, a moment of doing the sums and being mildly surprised by the answer. Nobody in that section is explaining our value proposition. They’re describing a Tuesday.
Which is why we built Earn. If you're posting about Laguna anyway, you should be getting paid for it.
What Earn is
Earn is a tab inside your Laguna account. You post a short video about Laguna on TikTok, Instagram, X or Facebook, paste the link into Earn, and we pay you based on how many people watch it.
There’s no application, no brief to follow, no contract, and nothing to pay to take part.
Why small accounts do fine here 📈
Most creator programs have a threshold. Ten thousand, fifty thousand, whatever number quietly means not you yet.
We pay on views, so there’s nothing for a threshold to do. Short-form platforms push videos out through the algorithm rather than your follower list, which is why accounts with three hundred followers routinely put up something that reaches forty thousand people. If that happens to you, you get the same rate as anyone else.
The second reason is less obvious and probably matters more.
Say a video reaches 200,000 people and they all scroll past. Now say another one reaches 2,000 people who genuinely shop online, and thirty of them think hang on, I book Agoda most months, and go and sign up. The second video is worth far more to you, because those thirty pay you twice over: once on the views, then again through the referral program, and that second part keeps going.
We’d rather have the 2,000. So would you, once you see the numbers.
What you earn 💸
Two balances, because they behave differently. Video earnings sit in Earn and you withdraw them there, in USDC on Base or Solana. Referral earnings come under the Laguna referral program, land in your normal rewards balance, and follow the usual rewards rules.
Worth noticing which of those rows has no ceiling. Views stop when the video stops spreading. The 10% keeps paying for as long as the person you introduced keeps shopping.
How to get paid
Use Laguna once yourself. Book a hotel, order something you were buying anyway. We look for at least one order on your account, because we want people talking from experience rather than reading a description.
Warm up your account. If you’re posting to a fresh or dormant account, spend a few days watching and engaging with content in your niche first. This is the single most common reason a first video stalls at 300 views, and it’s covered properly in the Creator playbook inside the Earn tab.
Film something short and honest. Fifteen seconds is enough. Show the app on screen doing a real thing.
Post it, then paste the link into Earn. TikTok, Instagram, X or Facebook.
We review it by hand, usually within one to three days.
We count your views twice. Once at 14 days, and you’re paid on that count straight away. Again at 30 days, when the number is final and you’re paid the difference.
What gets approved, and what doesn’t
A person watches every submission, so this doesn’t need to be long.
Original footage you filmed, showing the app in a real session, on a public post you keep up for 30 days. That’s most of it.
What doesn’t work: boosted or promoted posts, because only organic views count. Bought views and engagement pods, which are easier to spot than people expect. Somebody else’s footage. The same video posted from four accounts. Anything promising returns or predicting prices, which we’re strict about for reasons that probably don’t need spelling out.
One more that catches people. The video has to be about Laguna. An unrelated clip with our logo stuck on the end isn’t going to pass, however many views it gets.
When the money lands
First payment lands after the 14-day count. There’s no minimum, so you can pull it whenever you like.
Withdrawals are self-serve, in USDC on Base or Solana. You pick the network, you supply the address, we cover the fee.
Read the confirmation screen properly. On-chain transfers can’t be undone, and an address for the wrong network is gone for good. The screen names the network you chose for exactly that reason.

1. When do I actually get paid?
First payment lands after the 14-day count, and you can withdraw as soon as it’s there. There’s no minimum. The rest arrives after the 30-day count.
2. Do I need a big following?
No, and there’s no minimum. Payment is based on views, so a small account with one video that travels earns exactly what a large account would for the same views.
3. Do I have to buy something first?
We look for at least one order on your Laguna account. Not a special purchase, just something you were going to buy anyway, with cashback on it. It’s how we know you’ve used the thing you’re describing.
4. Does the video have to be about my purchase?
No. That’s often the most convincing video you can make, but it isn’t a requirement.
5. What if my video gets rejected?
You’ll see the status and reason in the Earn tab. Fix it and post something new. A rejection doesn’t affect future submissions.
6. Can I use my referral link in the video?
Put it in your bio or caption instead. An on-screen QR code or link reads as promotion to most platforms and tends to cut your reach, which costs you more than it gains.
7. What does beta mean for me?
Open to every Laguna user right now. It’s new, so reviews can run longer than the one to three days we’re aiming for when submissions pile up, and rates or mechanics may change as we learn what works. We’ll keep the earn page mechanics updated, and anything you’ve already earned stays yours.
